At FLC we are starting January with 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting—a time to break free from the patterns that hold us back and realign our hearts with God’s purpose. Prayer deepens our relationship with Him, helping us set aside daily distractions and focus on what truly matters.

Weekly Prayer Times

  • Daily prayer/fasting January 4th through January 24th

  • Sunday Pray First Services: Jan. 4th, 11th, & 18th @ 10am

  • Wednesday Prayer Services: Jan. 7th, 14th, & 21st @ 7pm

 

 

21 Days of prayer & fasting guidelines

Week 1

  • Eliminate: Fried foods, beef, pork, bread, sweets, caffeine.

  • Limit/Eliminate: Non-Christian TV and reading materials; severely limit or eliminate social media.

  • Meals: Include fish, chicken, fruits, vegetables, juices, and drink at least 32 oz. of water daily.

Week 2

  • Meals: Focus on fruits, vegetables, juices, and drink at least 32 oz. of water daily.

Week 3

  • Full Fast Option: Drink at least 64 oz. of water daily.

  • Partial Fast Option: Water only until 6:00 PM, then eat fruits and vegetables.

 

Fasting is a spiritual discipline that aligns our hearts more closely with the heart of God and helps empower us to see breakthroughs
in specific areas. Fasting is when we go without food (or specific types of food) for a period of time and instead direct our attention
more fully to God. It helps us as believers to not be ruled by our physical desires but to grow in spiritual strength and control
the desires of our flesh. Let’s seek Him together and start the year in His presence!
